Hale Swim School
Swimming is universally recognised as an extremely important part of Australian education, and we believe that teaching your child to swim is an investment in your child’s future, establishing a solid foundation and assisting the swimmer’s natural progression with a specific focus on technique.
Hale Swim School aims to offer the best customer service in our learn-to-swim experience, for the whole community.
We offer a term-based program with group or private classes for ages three to 14, year round. Our level progressions provide a broad-balanced program of swimming, water safety and survival skills in preparation of a lifetime of safe activity in or near any aquatic environment.
We also track the swimmer’s level, progress and achievement, providing parents with constant feedback.
All swimmers are issued with a coloured cap with a sea character motif at the time of enrolment, which denotes their swimming level.
Staff
Our AustSwim qualified, passionate and friendly staff here at Hale Swim School provide quality instructing, providing a strong knowledge of swimming and water safety in a positive and safe environment. This will ensure that your child will learn to love the water as much as we do
Term Enrolments
For all new enrolments, an assessment is required. For school-ages swimmers this is a practical assessment, whereas a verbal assessment is booked for pre-schoolers and non-swimmers. This is to ensure students are placed in the appropriate level before their first lesson.

2024 Swim School dates:
Term 1: Monday 29 January – Thursday 28 March
Term 2: Monday 15 April – Saturday 22 June
Term 3: Monday 15 July – Saturday 21 September
Term 4: Monday 7 October – Saturday 7 December

Holiday Splash Program
Continual learning is extremely beneficial for your child and will keep your swimmer’s developing skills continue. We offer Holiday Splash programs every April, October, December/January holiday period.
Bookings for the December/January Holiday Splash Program will open for Online bookings Monday 28 October 2024.

Facilities
The eight-lane, 25-metre pool runs at a comfortable 29 degrees all year round and is part of the Hale Aquatic Centre at Hale School.
Swim School office hours
Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday: 10.00am – 6.00pm
Tuesday: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Saturday: 11.30am – 4.00pm
